Looking for something to do on Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia? After all, this holiday is all about celebrating you, the worker. There’s plenty to do around Philadelphia all labor-day weekend from cruising, outdoor farmer’s markets, indoor super-hero exhibits and more. Check out the list below:

1. Take a Cruise

Take a cruise from Penn’s landing with Spirit Cruises. Fresh buffet, dancing, and music, and great views. Tours available Friday through Monday. Note: There is only one tour currently scheduled on the actual labor day (Monday, September 2nd) so be sure to plan ahead.

2. Made in America Festival

The Made in America music festival returns with a great lineup at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. August 31 and September 1, featuring Kayzo, Grace Carter, 99 Neighbors, Charly Bliss, and more. There are general admission tickets and VIP tickets.

3. BlueCross RiverRink Festival

Didn’t get a chance to see it? Open through September 2nd with plenty of food and drink available at concession stands, you can check out the RiverRink Festival. Featuring roller skating (Philadelphia’s only outdoor roller rink), 9-hole mini-golf, games, rides, and more – it’s an awesome hang out spot right on the river. Note: Some activities require tickets.

4. Superheros at the Franklin Institute

Who doesn’t love a good superhero show? Now featuring 300 artifacts, including Marvel’s most iconic life-size superheroes, this limited-time exhibit is available through September 11th at the Franklin Institute. Pricing varies based on when you go so be sure to check out their website in advance for more information.

5. Parks on Tap

Philly’s traveling beer garden is around and will be in Clark Park (West Philadelphia) through and including Labor Day. Parks on Tap brings a beer garden to different parks around Philly throughout late September. If you miss it, there are still a few more chances to catch it as the traveling beer garden closes up shop on 9/29 at the Strawberry Mansion Bridge.

6. Cherry Street Pier

The Cherry Street Pier is a unique public space right on the Delaware riverfront. Every Saturday through November 16th, check out the open-air farmer’s market. A mix of historic, open-air gardens, art studios, and breathtaking views, make this new space a top attraction. Walk around the farmer’s market with unique vendors featuring fresh bread, coffees, smoothies, and more. Then, on select Saturdays, the flea market is open next door at the Race Street Pier.
