Northeast Philadelphia refers to a very large area within Philadelphia, and is divided by the City of Philadelphia into two sections: Near Northeast and Far Northeast, respectively.
Within Northeast Philadelphia, there are many different neighborhoods that locals identify with, including Somerton, Bustleton, Fox Chase, Rhawnhurst, Burholme, and more. Generally, there are no defined borders to neighborhoods but rather terminology used by locals.
